Soft-Close Drawers and Shutters
Soft-close channels and hinges make daily use smoother, quieter and more premium. They are useful for wardrobes used every morning and night because shutters and drawers close gently without harsh impact.
Wardrobe with study table
A wardrobe with study table puts clothing storage and a working desk in the same run, so a bedroom gains a proper workspace without losing floor to a separate table. Reedify designs and manufactures these in straight, corner and L-shaped layouts, for adults and for kids rooms, with the desk height, storage and cable routing planned in 3D before production.

The basics
A wardrobe with study table is a single made-to-order unit that combines clothing storage with a working desk — a writing surface, storage above or beside it, and planned power and cable routing — built into the same run of cabinetry. The desk borrows the wall the wardrobe already occupies rather than taking new floor space for a separate table.
A freestanding study table needs its own footprint plus a chair pull-back, and in a bedroom that is planned tight there is rarely a wall left for it once the bed and the wardrobe are placed. Building the desk into the wardrobe run solves the geometry: the writing surface cantilevers off the same carcass, and only the chair needs clear floor.
It also makes the desk usable rather than decorative. A built-in surface can be set at the right height for the person using it, with the shelving above placed where you actually reach for books, and a socket routed inside the unit instead of a cable trailing to the nearest wall point.
The honest trade-off: the desk section takes roughly 3 to 4 running feet away from hanging space, and that width is gone permanently. In a kids room that is usually the right call. In a master bedroom with one wardrobe wall, think carefully about whether the clothes storage you lose is storage you need.

Why Reedify
Reedify Modulars is a manufacturer, not a reseller. Every wardrobe is designed in 3D, manufactured on our own factory floor in Rohtak and installed by our own team — so quality, warranty and factory-direct pricing all stay with one accountable company.
Every wardrobe is planned around what actually goes inside it — daily wear, long garments, folded stacks, accessories and luggage — before a single panel is cut.
Panels are cut and edge-banded on machine, not on site. Consistent panel sizing is what keeps shutter gaps even and alignment straight years later.
Soft-close hinges, telescopic channels and pull-outs from Hettich and Häfele. A specific brand can be sourced on request.
You see the exact unit in 3D — layout, finish, internal storage — and approve it before anything is manufactured.
Acrylic, Laminate, PU Paint, Glass Shutters, Painted Gloss and Plywood & HDHMR — compared side by side before you choose.
Moisture-resistant engineered cores with sealed edge-banding — chosen to hold up to Indian humidity and daily use.
Up to a 10-year structural warranty*, explained clearly against the board, hardware and finish you select.
Factory-made advantage
Factory-made modular wardrobes maintain consistent panel sizing, cleaner edge finishing, planned hardware placement and better alignment before the installation team reaches the site — so the final wardrobe looks more refined.
Panels are made after site measurement and design approval, so the wardrobe is planned for the actual room.
Factory edge finishing helps the wardrobe look more refined than rough on-site fabrication.
Hinges, channels, handles, drawers and accessories are selected before production for a controlled layout.
Panels, hardware fitment and finish details are checked before dispatch and final installation.

Smart storage features
A premium wardrobe is not only about shutter colour. It should solve daily storage problems through better internal planning, smooth hardware, organised accessories and practical compartments.

Soft-close channels and hinges make daily use smoother, quieter and more premium. They are useful for wardrobes used every morning and night because shutters and drawers close gently without harsh impact.

Separate hanging heights can be planned for sarees, coats, shirts, trousers, daily wear and occasional outfits. This prevents wasted vertical space and keeps clothing easier to access.

A trouser pull-out keeps trousers visible, crease-controlled and easy to select. It is a compact premium accessory for wardrobes where formal wear needs organised storage.

A dedicated tray can be planned for watches, belts, jewellery, wallets, sunglasses and small essentials. It keeps premium accessories protected and easy to find.

Shoe storage can be included inside the wardrobe when the room needs a clean and organised footwear zone. Pull-out shelves or dedicated racks keep pairs visible and separated.

Tie and belt organisers use narrow space efficiently and keep accessories from getting tangled. This is a small feature that adds a high-end daily-use feel.

Integrated lighting improves visibility inside deep wardrobes and adds a premium feel to glass or walk-in designs.

A hidden laundry basket helps separate used clothes without making the bedroom look messy. This feature is practical for master bedrooms and daily-use wardrobes.

A mirror can be planned on a shutter, inside a panel or as part of a dressing section. It saves space and helps the wardrobe work as a complete bedroom storage and dressing zone.

Adjustable shelves allow the wardrobe interior to change as storage needs change. Shelf height can be planned for folded clothes, handbags, boxes, bedding or daily essentials, making the wardrobe more flexible than fixed compartments.

A pull-down hanging lift uses the upper wardrobe height without making clothes hard to reach. It is useful for tall wardrobes where formal wear, coats or occasional outfits can be stored higher while remaining accessible.

A valet rod provides a temporary hanging point for clothes selected for the next day, freshly ironed outfits or garments taken out while dressing. It makes a modular wardrobe feel more organised and easier to use every day.

How it works
We measure your space to the millimetre — the numbers the whole design is built on.
You see the exact unit in 3D and approve a fixed, itemised quote before anything is cut.
Cut, edge-banded and quality-inspected on our own factory floor, then checked against the approved drawing.
Our own team installs and finishes on site — clean handover, warranty on paper.
Internal planning
A study surface built at the wrong height, or with shelving in the wrong place, stops being used within a month. Desk height, legroom, lighting and power are all set in the 3D drawing before manufacturing.

Set to the person using it, with clear knee space under the surface and no carcass panel where the chair goes.
Shelving or closed units placed within reach when seated, not so low that they crowd the working surface.
Sockets planned inside the unit for a laptop, lamp or monitor, with cables routed through the carcass instead of across the floor.
Light placed over the surface rather than behind the seat, so your own shadow does not fall on what you are reading.
In a kids room the shelving is planned so it can be raised as the child grows, without rebuilding the unit.
What affects the price
Every project is quoted individually. Your final price is fixed after a free site measurement, with no hidden charges.
Get a personalised quoteRunning feet of cabinetry and the opening type. A compact two-shutter unit and a full-wall wardrobe are different jobs.
Laminate, acrylic, PU paint, glass, mirror and wood-texture finishes differ in look, maintenance and cost.
Plywood, HDHMR and BWP-grade board differ in strength, moisture suitability and price.
Drawers, hanging sections, soft-close hinges, channels and pull-outs change the final estimate.
Mirror or glass work, loft storage, internal lighting and installation scope all factor in.
Questions
Still deciding? These cover pricing, warranty, timelines and how the factory model actually works.
Can't find yours? Ask us directlyA comfortable desk section takes roughly 3 to 4 running feet of the wardrobe wall, plus clear floor behind it for the chair. That width comes out of hanging space permanently, so we draw the split in 3D first and show you exactly how much clothes storage remains.
For an adult, the writing surface usually sits around 29 to 30 inches from the floor. For a child it is set lower and matched to the chair they will actually use. Because the unit is made to order, the height is fixed to the person rather than to a standard, and the shelving above can be planned so it is raised later as a child grows.
Yes, and the corner is often the best place for it. The inside of an L-turn is the hardest part of a wardrobe to plan for hanging, so putting the desk there uses space that would otherwise be awkward and keeps the full straight run available for clothes.
Yes. The desk is planned outside the sliding track line so no shutter travels across the working surface. That usually means the study section sits at one end of the run as a fixed open bay rather than behind a sliding panel.
It is one of the most common reasons people ask for it. A single unit gives a child clothes storage, a desk and book storage on one wall, which leaves the rest of a small bedroom clear for a bed and floor space. We set the desk height to the child and plan the shelving so it can be raised later.
Yes, and it is worth doing at the design stage. Sockets are planned inside or beside the desk section for a laptop, lamp or monitor, and cables are routed through the carcass. Retrofitting this after installation means surface-mounted trunking, which never looks as clean.
Yes, if the wall is long enough — you are giving up hanging width twice. It is a frequent request in guest and children's bedrooms. Both surfaces are drawn into the same run so the counter heights, finishes and handle lines carry through rather than reading as separate furniture.
All six Reedify finishes — acrylic, laminate, PU paint, glass shutters, painted gloss and plywood & HDHMR. For the desk surface itself we usually recommend a finish that takes daily writing, wiping and laptop use without marking, and we will talk that through against the finish you choose for the shutters.
