Terms & Conditions
How we quote, take payment, measure, manufacture, deliver and install — and what sits outside our scope.
Last updated: 15 July 2026
Who these terms are between
These terms apply to work carried out by Reedify Modulars ("we", "us") for the person or business named on the quotation ("you"). They apply alongside your signed quotation. Where the quotation says something different from this page, the quotation wins.
Quotations
A quotation is prepared after we understand your requirement, and it lists the scope, materials, finishes and hardware it is priced against. It is an offer for that scope only.
- A quotation is valid for up to 60 days from its date. After that we may need to re-price it.
- Prices are based on the material, finish and hardware selections recorded on the quotation. Changing any of them changes the price.
- Anything not written on the quotation is not included in it.
- Taxes apply as per the rates in force on the date of invoice.
Payment
Payment stages depend on the size of the project, and the exact schedule is written on your quotation. As a general shape:
- Larger projects start with a 40% advance to confirm the order and schedule production.
- The remaining amount is then released in stages against the percentage of work completed.
- Smaller projects may instead be settled in full before the project is finalised, where the quotation says so.
- Production is scheduled only after the confirming advance is received and the design is approved.
- Material, finish and hardware selections are locked at the point production starts, because panels are cut to that specification.
- Delayed payment may delay dispatch and installation.
Site measurement and design approval
- We take final measurements at your site before production. These measurements, not drawings supplied by others, are what the units are built to.
- You see the unit in 3D before anything is cut, so there is nothing left to imagine. Production starts only from the version you approve.
- You have 7 days from receiving the 3D design to ask for changes. We work through them with you in that window.
- Once the project moves into manufacturing, the design is closed. Panels are already being cut to your specification, so changes cannot be taken at that point and the remaining payment falls due as scheduled.
- The site must be ready for measurement — walls, flooring level and any structural work complete — so that our measurements match the finished room. If the site changes after measurement, re-measurement and re-work may be chargeable.
Production, delivery and installation
- Typical production and handover takes 30 to 45 days. This runs from the date you approve the design, not from your first enquiry. For a project larger than that, we give you a clear date in writing before work starts.
- Timelines assume site readiness and access. Delays caused by site conditions, incomplete civil work, or restricted building access extend the schedule accordingly.
- Delivery is to the address on the quotation. You are responsible for arranging building permissions, lift or stair access, and any society formalities.
- Installation is carried out by our own team. We install the modular units, fit the hardware supplied with them, and clean up our own packing material.
What is not included
Unless your quotation says otherwise in writing, the following are outside our scope and need to be arranged by you before we install:
- Civil work — breaking, building or repairing walls, floors, platforms or counters, and any masonry, tiling or plaster work.
- Electrical work — new points, wiring, switchboards, earthing, or shifting existing points. We need the points already in position for appliances, lighting and chimneys.
- Plumbing work — water inlets, outlets, drainage, and shifting existing lines. Sink and tap connections need working plumbing already in place.
- Gas piping and appliance connection where a licensed technician is required.
- False ceiling, painting, and any finishing of surrounding walls.
- Appliances and sanitaryware unless they are itemised on your quotation.
If these are not ready on the installation date, our team may have to return later and a revisit may be chargeable.
Cancellation and changes
Once a project is in process, no refund is available. Units are made to your measurements and your selections, so they cannot be resold to anyone else — that is why the position changes as soon as production begins.
The point to raise a change is during the 7-day review window on the 3D design, before manufacturing starts.
Warranty
Warranty is covered separately on the Warranty & Service Support page, including the important distinction between the warranty on hardware — which is given by the hardware brand — and what we cover ourselves.
Liability
- We are responsible for the workmanship of what we manufacture and install.
- If a product is damaged in transit on its way to you, that is on us — we repair or replace it at our cost.
- We are not responsible for damage caused by water leakage, seepage, structural movement, pest damage, misuse, or alterations carried out by someone else.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
- Our total liability is limited to the value of the affected unit — the piece the problem is actually in, not the whole order.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Rohtak, Haryana.
Before going to court, both sides agree to first try to settle the matter directly. If something goes wrong on a project, talk to us — we would rather sit down with you and work it out than have either side reach for a legal process.
